Connect your Google Chromecast into an open HDMI slot on your TV.

  2. Now, take your included USB charger and either connnect to a open slot on your TV, or connect to a power outlet.( I recommend using a power outlet so your TV does not have to draw extra power.)

  3. Follow the onscreen instructions. (if the Chromecast recommends using the HDMI extension for better WiFi reception then use it as well.)

That was not too difficult, Google really makes the process as simple as matching up your homes WiFi network to the device. It should be noted that your streaming experience is going to tie right into the speed of your home internet, so if you have an older connection, you may experience longer loading times. Once you have everything setup, all that is left is for you to start queuing up your YouTube videos, or Netflix play lists and enjoy the quality invest you made into the Google Chromecast.

If for some reason you are still having trouble with the setup process, do not worry, Google has a neat little web tool that can assist if you are encountering strange problems, or are just having difficulty with the process. They have created a web install page where it will guide you step by step through the process and help with any errors you encounter. Google Chromecast Web Setup
